Improving financial literacy through social media

Alpine Advisory is an independent financial planning firm. Their comprehensive services help turn your goals into reality. Islamic financial planning, tax budgeting, risk management – they got all that and more. Working adults and young families can secure their future with confidence.

Most of their leads come from warm market. The intention with social media is to help improve the financial literacy of their current and prospective clients. Social media becomes a channel to provide current financial news and concepts.

I am responsible for content planning, research and creation (design, video editing and caption writing). I also work with the financial planners to come up with content that reflects their thoughts and knowledge on a subject.

Since their target audience are working adults and young families, we focused on Facebook and Instagram. Facebook is used to reach middle age adults and Instagram to reach young adults.

I am responsible for managing their Facebook and Instagram accounts, posting the content and compiling the analytics every 3 months. I present it to the client so that we know what’s working and what’s not.

We use this insight to plan our next steps.

“Fion requires minimal supervision when working with her, and welcomes new ideas and discussions. She conducts research on the content and makes sure that it is conveyed well to the audience. Fion clarifies and aligns the branding needs. She used a variety of strategies to reach the audience in the best interest of the brand owners and the audience.”
